Mini Christmas Photo Sessions
It may still feel like summer outside, but Christmas is right around the corner! AACO, @christineephoto and @petalsandpicspb have partnered up for Mini Christmas Photo Sessions!
The 15-minute sessions will be held at the AACO Community Center.
You will receive 10 high-resolution digital images. If you bring a toy for the Christmas Toy Drive, you’ll receive 5 additional edited photos!
Session Costs:
AACO Members - $90
Non-members - $105
There are limited spots available, so make sure to email parentengagement@assyrianamerican.org to book your session!
Adopted Street Cleanup
The Assyrian American Cultural Organization of Arizona adopted Bell Rd from 51st to 59th Ave and one of our tasks is to do a quarterly street cleanup of the area!
All are welcome and this does count as community service for anyone that needs to complete that.
We’ll be meeting on Saturday, October 12th, at the First Bank parking lot on 59th and Bell Rd at 9am!

Assyrian Folk Tales Book Launch
AACO is pleased to have author Bedri Bet-Hurmuz present his first book “Assyrian Folk Tales” on Saturday, September 21st at 2PM at the Assyrian Community Center! He will also discuss his past and future projects!
Bedri (Diril) Bet-Hurmuz completed his high school education at Evrim High School in Istanbul. Then he successfully graduated from Pera Fine Arts Radio and Television Program in 2004. After working on various documentaries and independent projects, he works on independent projects such as documentary films and books on Assyrian culture as a freelancer.

Join us for the first ever AACO Community Center Khosheba d’Bnate event! We will be hosting a paint and potluck with Bavlina Youri! Light refreshments and mimosas will be served. The event is $25 per person and there are limited spots available. You must register for the event.
