'Tis the Season to Give Back

In the spirit of the Christmas holiday season, we teamed up with the Assyrian Student Association of Arizona and hosted two events that gave back to our local community in Arizona and also to the greater Assyrian community in the homeland.

The first event was a Dine and Donate that was hosted on December 13th, 2020 at a local Assyrian owned restaurant, Burgers and Brews. Burgers and Brews were kind enough to donate a portion of their sales from that day towards our Dine and Donate. At the same time, Uptown Medispa Arrowhead wanted to up the ante and also supported this endeavor by matching the donations from their giveaway.

With the help of the greater Assyrian community, Burgers and Brews, and Uptown Medispa Arrowhead; we were able to donate $1,120 to Etuti Institute which aims to educate, enable, and empower children, youth, and women to build generations of new leaders in the homeland!

The second event was targeted towards our local community in Arizona. We teamed up with Skewers Mediterranean Grill to host a Toy Drive at their restaurant. Hundreds of toys were collected and donated to the Boys and Girls Club of America and Three Precious Miracles.

We would like to thank all of the donors and partners that helped us give back to our local community in Arizona and the greater Assyrian community in the homeland.
